Ah, Queen's Blade. So ridiculous, gratuitous, and deliciously full of tits you are. We love you for it, and we love the idea that we can buy it all on a DVD and watch it over and over again. This December 22nd the box set for season 2 will be released in Japan, and much like the first season it will literally be busting out with extra features. Well, how appropriate.
Anime News Network reports that the Queen's Blade official site has confirmed all these extra goodies, including a complete director's cut, along with a slew of other goods:
Two television episodes, a booklet for the character Ymir's "secret notes," a front jacket illustration by the character designer Rin Shin, a rear jacket illustration by one of the original game designers, a different credit-less ending animation, a Yappari Dechau no Gainos Gakuen Ōabare! OVA, and a digital flash manga with spoken dialogue.
Um ... wow? That's a LOT of extra stuff. Color me impressed. That isn't even all, though. There's a limited edition of each DVD in the volume as well, which will come with sticker seals, a special CD, and a mobile game if you can get your hands on it. Preorder the volume, and you'll get bundle a bathing poster by Rin Shin. I mean, talk about drenching me in merchandise! Queen's Blade fans have it good!

Check out this new fall / winter 2009 collection from Opening Ceremony and Pendleton. While Pendleton’s known for its traditional, resilient knitwear, Opening Ceremony prides itself on modern designs with a sense of adventure. The combination of the two makes a practical yet flashy collection that’s perfect for the season. Some of the pieces stick to more traditional fabrics, but check out the wild hooded jacket, that looks like it was pulled right out Arsenio Hall’s closet.
