Alex Prieto, a designer formerly with Base’s Barcelona studio, is currently traveling from Beijing to India—by bike. He’s pedaling up through Mongolia and across China, and then down through Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and the other –stans, ultimately to end up in the Himalayas of India. He’s been at it for six months now, and will be for two or three months more. Along the way, he’s snapped shots of some poetic and copywriterly road signs with a variety of messages.
