Kanye West teams up with famed illustrator Bill Plympton to create ‘Through The Wire’, an illustrated book documenting his rise from obscurity as a dropout from Chicago State University, to being chained at Roc-A-Fella Records. Love him or hate him, he’s one of the biggest names in the game today, and this book gives you an intimate understanding of his rise. The book will be available through Amazon on November 10th, 2009.

Check out ‘Living Decay’, a documentary chronicling the work of street artists Dolk & Pøbel in rural Norway. In the summer of 2008, Dolk & Pøbel discovered a few abandoned buildings that were ready to be demolished. Before seeing their destruction, the two artists erected some impressive stencils on them. All street artists know that their work is ephemeral, ready to be wiped at any minute, but that sense is just amplified when watching these artists paint on buildings they know will soon be demolished.
